My husband met with our SS last week and he was really happy with all the information and how things are progressing. Our SS was quite confident that things could wrap up in approximately 3 weeks!! Crazy! It feels a little surreal and there still seems to be a lot to do - but when you think about it all - it could be done in a quick turnover of time. I think it still feels a long way off as we are doing the flooring after handover. It will never seem finished until that is done.
Jobs still to be done:
Window in ensuite shower - this then needs waterproofing, tiling, grouting etc;
Spa bath and main bath installed;
Ensuite shower screen;
Painting of a few doors, alfresco area and external weatherboards etc;
Stairs stained and vanished;
Front doors finished;
Theatre window reveals removed and replaced;
Downlights finished, fluorescence to garage;
Kitchen Range installed;
Plaster work to kitchen, garage (and lots of patches and refinements in other parts);
Kitchen glass splashbacks installed;
Doors hung;
Rendering to facade;
Tiling to facade;
Carpet installed - this is on back order!!! arhhh! could be tomorrow or 3 weeks away!
Brick underpinning;
Termite protection completed;
Doors cleaned and serviced - including scratches repaired/replaced;
Window infills installed;
Appliances installed.
Do doubt there are others, but these are the main things!
