Porcelain Tiles - Without Grout

The tiler had a busy weekend at our house, working both Saturday and Sunday. I ducked in Sunday to have a sneak peak and was so excited to see most the tiles finished. They are looking very special - even without grout/cleaning etc! He had yesterday off, but when I drove past today, he was back. So I might have some grouting photos in the next few days! The tiling in the ensuite is at a bit of a standstill till the window in the shower in replaced (with correct size) as the bottom reveal is tiled (it will also need to be waterproofed).

    1. Thanks for the comment! I've got some more kitchen photos with the Caesarstone on so I will update later today! We can't wait to see it finished either. It's so dusty at the moment, it's hard to imagine it sparkling clean and functional!

    1. Thank-you! It's nice to get comment like that as it brings us back to reality. We go in and look with a microscope at different aspects they are working at and sometimes we forget/take for granted what we will have! It's all really coming together - need to pinch myself!

  4. Thanks for the updates. We are really enjoying reading through your progress. Wondering what colour splash back you're going in the kitchen? We are building with Carlise too and just finalising tender. We also have chosen a white kitchen but not sure on our choice of splash back. Thanks :)

    1. Hi, Thanks for the comment. We are patiently waiting for the splashback to be done. The plasterers were due about 2/3 weeks ago and it cannot be done until they have been. We only have 2 small parts of splashback (2 areas in kitchen and 2 in butlers) as the main splashbacks are windows. We colour we chose is Blind Date - in clear glass. This is a standard glass and colour. We chose not to upgrade to starfire glass (it would have been $710 x2 for kitchen/butlers). Starfire has no greenish tinge. Blind date is a mild grey/brown colour. Hope it looks okay! What design are you building?

  5. Nice tiles but they must be timely cleaned to let them keep new & shiny as they are looking now.
